Online store Fotodiskont
Welcome to our online store!
We want to make it easy for you so that you can always choose from a wide range of photo products.
How to buy in the online store Fotodiskont?
1. Select category [type] of product
You can select the desired category in the main menu on the home page by clicking on the appropriate category. To return to the home page where the entire menu is available, click the icon Home at the top of the page.
On the left (Picture 1) we have selected the category "cameras, lenses and additional equipment." The number of items available at the Fotodiskont store is displayed in parentheses. In our case, the selected category contains 694 items.
After you have clicked the selected category, a new page will open with a new, larger menu.
2. Multi-level search
It is hard to imagine searching for a single product in a selection of over 600 items, so the menu on the left provides some shortcuts.
The category selected on the home page is divided into multiple categories which are displayed in the left menu on the new page. (Picture 2)
The second level opens on mouse over (Picture 3) and a third level if we go over the second one with the mouse again. (Picture 4)
Each of the levels narrows down the search, helping us to find the desired product in the shortest possible time.
Once you have found the desired category, click on the category and the centre of the page will display only the items that fall in the selected category or sub-category.
3. Sort displayed items
You have selected the desired category and the items are displayed in the centre of the page. The number of items is often considerable despite the narrowing down. To make the selection easier, these items can be sorted in a variety of ways with the sort window at the top of the page, (Picture 5).
The top of the sort window contains categories and sub-categories of items on the page. (Picture 6).

Under the categories are buttons to select the number of items displayed per page.
You can select the display of 5, 10, 15, 20, 50 or 100 items per page. The default setting is 10 items per page, which is also the optimal option in terms of speed. You can chose to display more items (50 or 100), but the time it takes for the page to load is much longer because of the number of images.
Select the desired number of displayed items per page simply by clicking on the appropriate number (Picture 7).

You have selected the number of items to be displayed per page, but there are sometimes multiple pages of items, whose number is given at the bottom of the sort window.
The number of the page you are currently at is underlined and has a different colour. You can simply select the desired page by clicking on the appropriate number. (Picture 7a)
You can also select the desired page number at the bottom of the page. (Picture 7a)

Below the buttons for the selection of items per page is an icon to select or deselect the display of images along the items. You can select or deselect this option by clicking "Hide image". (Picture 8a).
If you are puzzled as to why someone might decide not to view the images, it has got to be a while since you last used dial-up, as dial-up users grow a beard waiting for the pictures to load.
After the click, the icon is replaced by a new icon "Show image."
Clicking it displays the images again, (Picture 8b)
The items in the selected category can also be sorted by their properties: price, producer, name and category.
Above the words "price", "producer", "name" and "category" are sorting buttons for ascending and below them for descending.
Selecting price ascending will display items from the cheapest to the most expensive, and vice versa if you select the descending button below. (Picture 9)
The same thing happens with other types of sorting, only that the items are sorted alphabetically from a to z if you click the upper button, or z to a if you click the lower buttons.
Clicking "producer" means that the items will be sorted by name of producer, "name" will sort them by name and "category" will sort them by their respective category.
The name of the buttons tells you which of the criteria you have selected and how the items are sorted, e.g. "Sorted by producer, ascending" or "Sorted by price, descending". (Picture 9)
Below this is the command to unselect sorting, which returns the items to their original position. Just click on "Deselect sorting". (Picture 9)
The message below the sort buttons "New and sale at the beginning" tells us that the items are sorted by default.
For easier searching, the items can also be sorted by producer by clicking the desired producer in the window on the right. (Picture 10)
The page now displays only the articles of the selected producer, in our case Canon.

4. Short description of the item
Every item on the search page is displayed in its own field.
On the left side of the field is the item image, to the right of which is the product description with a short description of the properties. (Picture 11)
In the upper right part of the field are the messages for "sale" if the item is on sale, or "new" if it is a new item, or both. (Picture 11)
Below is the price of the item and discount, followed by the price if you purchase the item at the Fotodiskont online store. (Picture 11)
To learn more about a product, click on the link "PRODUCT DETAILS". (Picture 11)
5. Product details
Clicking "PRODUCT DETAILS" will open a new page with the short description of the item seen on the previous page. (Picture 12)
Under the short description is a field with tabs whose number depends on the amount of information on a given item. The most common tabs are "Related items", "Photos", "Properties" and "Details".
Clicking a tab (Picture 12) will open the sub-field with the desired information. The "Related items" sub-field will for example provide information about items that can compliment the selected item and which you can also buy at the Fotodiskont online store. Clicking the tab "Properties" will show detailed characteristics of the article, while clicking "Photos" will produce more pictures of the selected item. The photos can also be enlarged.
6. Purchase
Place the item in the cart by clicking "PCS. TO THE CART". (Picture 13)
If you want to purchase more than one piece of the selected item, change the number in the box appropriately. (Picture 13)
Click the cart to view the content and price.
Check out with by clicking "Checkout" or continue shopping with "Continue shopping", which will take you back to the first step.
After clicking “checkout” follow the instructions that will take you through all the procedure of paying and choosing the type of delivery.
Želimo Vam prijeteno nakupovanje!
